I honestly don't understand why someone could hate another person simply based on one of their characteristics.

Yesterday I had a run-in with one of just two homophobes I know.

Apparently I'm incapable of being a friend simply because I'm not heterosexual. Can't be funny if I'm [as close to] gay [as a bisexual person can get]. Nope. Can't be polite if I'm [as close to] gay [as a bisexual person can get]. Of course not! What was I thinking?
